I-PaLS

The I-PaLS program will provide training, mentoring and peer support activities that connect people to community. Training sessions will include tenancy rights, financial literacy, job readiness, maintaining physical and mental health, interpersonal skills, supported decision making, consumer rights and accessing transport.

The targeted skills development program will help participants to greater independence, with increased choice and control over their lives, by speaking up for themselves, accessing information and resolving issues independently.

The program will include access to trained mentors with lived experience of disability and a range of peer support activities during and after the formal skills development component is completed.
